"Bought this when the second leased modem from Comcast gave it up. Installation on a home network with a Linksys WRT54GL router was no problem at all. Unlike the original leased Motorola or the replacement leased RCA/Thomson, the Zoom doesn't provide a status page that can be viewed in a browser to show errors and warnings, but that's not very important for me...." "I just bought this unit a week because I needed a modem for my comcast service. I would recommend this modem because of it's ease of use, set up and cost. Definately get this unit if you're getting comcast internet service instead of renting a modem from the company. "
