"I use this Quick release clamp for my Nikon 200-400mm f4 with Wimberley foot B&H# WIFN500 on my Gitzo monopod GN2540 which replaced with GM2541 &H # GIGM2541 and I also added Gitzo g1220-130 foot B&H # GIG1220130 .
This combination is highly recomended and works together perfectly.

"I have other brands of quick release clamps, and this is probably the nicest. It has a fairly small footprint, but is every bit as sturdy as the bigger ones. I use it for macro work which means it can hold a heavy load, and for sports on a monopod.

"Most quick release clamps are made of aluminum, and this one is no exception. The only difference is that the aluminum used for this clamp is a higher strength kind. When I dropped my monopod with this clamp mounted, the clamp hit the ground but didn't get a scratch like most other brand would. "

"A very well-made arca-type clamp. Works well as a monopod QR clamp although I think the clamp knob is too large and takes too many turns.
I basically chose this clamp on price however I now wish I had paid a few bucks more for the Acratech clamp with it's faster thread pitch.
