"First, a word about its limits: speed and (as delivered) file size. I think the speed is limited by the USB 2.0 connection: gigabyte-sized files may take a few minutes to save. It comes formatted as a FAT32 file system, an older way of handling files, which is compatible with a wider range of systems. FAT32 limits the size of files to 4 GB (4,294,967,295 bytes) each. "Pros It really worked great for the first week. Cons Then the female usb plug broke irrepairably on the unit resulting in a loss of data. This was perfectly what I wanted, plug it in, drag and drop, unplug it and go. Shows up in "my computer" as another hard drive and you use it like one. Very simple and quick. I love it!
