"I bought this for a second data drive in my new Desktop running Windows Vista 64 Bit. Bottom line is that it does work, but read below. Don't expect to get much help from their outsourced support.The software in the box states the requirements as Windows 2000 or Windows XP, so I contacted Western Digital.
