"Wescott makes great lighting equipment--I have a bunch of their stuff. The Halo is a big improvement over the use of a bounce back umbrella. "I've been using this for portraits and still lifes. It provides a nice wrap-around light for my subjects and has a great catch-light effect in the eyes. I use it with a Westcott TD5 Spiderlight and it's a great combo. "

"I like this softbox a lot. It softens the light nicely and produces a round catchlight in the eyes. I have a small studio and it is just the right size for me. I highly recommend it. "
