"This phone does what you want in a multi-extension cordless phone. The signal goes for at least 75 feet, inside and outside the house, with very little static. Each extension can pick up without blocking the other. The speakerphone is pretty loud. The answering machine is simple to use. I haven't had the phone long enough to say how reliable it is. "I purchased this product, and used it for approx. one week before returning it. When I would receive calls, I could barely hear the person on the other end !
