"Bought this to use with my Ooma device, free calls over a broadband connection using a standard phone. I wanted the least expensive most basic cordless phone. Not worth your time or effort

"I purchased 2 of these phones 3 weeks ago and they worked fine for a few days then all of a sudden one day we had "no line" on the screen and our trimline cord phone didnt work either. Called the phone co and they came and checked all the phone lines and finally determined it was the phones and stated these type will reset themselves occasionally.
