"I did not realize it was "refurbished"..... the previous "owners" received calls had not been erased from caller ID, and there was no instruction manual in the box. I was able to locate a manual on the V tech website, but I felt this should have been provided with my purchase. "

"Sound was distorted and one handset didn't work. Since it was opened (obviously) it couldn't be returned. Bought replacement from another source. Everything else I've purchased (with only one exception) has been wonderful. Fortunately this wasn't a high ticket item. "
