"I've had my Vizio for 1 week and I really like it. You need to use the correct connections(HDMI,component cables, etc) and also subscribe to a high def cable service to really appreciate these wide screen hdtv's, otherwise trying to watch poor analog or with a standard digital cable box will cause you to second guess your purchase no matter which tv you choose. Great Picture - Annoying Humming Sound

"Great price for this TV. Has a great picture. A loud humming sound came from the speakers, though, which was intolerable. It was partially remedied by raising backlighting setting to 100. However, I don't think one should have to relinquish a setting to correct for an annoying buzz that should not be there in the first place. So, I returned the TV.
