"I bought one of these devices and have had problems with it ever since. The zoom and iris works great and is very smooth, but the focus freaks out on my camera. It seems to have a life of its' own and does not focus correctly. I basically had to disable it.I filled out the support form on the varizoom website and called them and no response to either. "I have been shooting youth football and most games have to be shot on the sideline. This controller has made my shooting so much easier. I have to follow the kids and at times they run right by me. No more missing the action. No matter what I shoot, I won't leave home with out it. "

"I use the Varizoom controller on a Panasonic HMC150, attaching it to the left handle of a RedRock Micro shoulder mount. It works perfectly as advertised: focus, zoom and iris can be finely controlled from the left handle.
