"For those who do not know, any Hard Drive data transfer through USB (even USB 2.0) will seem VERY slow! Even though USB 2.0 has up to 480Mb/s transfer rate, that is a ''best case scenario'' and is less than 1/6th the speed of your average Hard Drive which is about 3000Mb/s! "I got this adapter because I replaced my SATA hard drive with a larger one and wanted to transfer my data after loading Windows XP on the new hard drive. Well, I hooked the adapter up and Windows XP displayed the old hard drive and all of the files in My Computer. However, when I tried to copy the files, I got a message that the files were not found and could not be copied. So the adapter is worthless to me. ..." Read Full Review »
