"I bought 2 for WD1EADS 1TB SATAs. Neither worked. Did everything I could think of (different PCs, drivers, cables, surge protectors...) no go. Contacted WD, Vantec and this retailer (back and forth for almost a week). Vantec indicated it might be the power supply.
