Heavy duty - best value

"This is a commercial quality mount, very heavy and requires a sturdy wall to mount. It shipped on schedule, but was re-packaged goods, but that was not a factor - the previous owner probably found it too heavy. I made a "1/2" plate, screwed it into my 1/2" thick paneling in the basement and mounted ot onto the plate. I only needed 6 additional 1 1/2" woods screws (not supplied). Be carefull with the holes

"I have not mounted a TV on it yet, still looking for the right one, but I installed this on my covered patio for outdoor viewing and I would warn you not to follow the spec overlay for drilling holes as they are wrong.
