"I tried to purchase this product for the Archos 604 but the tip configurations may have been different between the the Archos and the iPod. From the tip to the base of the plug it goes from audio(left), audio(right), ground, video. Normally the ground is supposed to be at the base for most 3.5mm to AV plugs but it is actually located one segment before the base. I had no luck with my unit and wound up destroying..." "The idea of this item is great. The featurea are good and its easy to use. But the Video quality is real bad! I would tell you to save your money for one of the other more expensice items that do the same thing. That is what I am doing right now! "
