"I have owned this phone for over a year and still love it. It has many functions on it, gets good reception, has a good battery life, too many good features to list. I have 2 young kids so the phones have really taken a beating and they still are in perfect condition (a big plus+++) One even got washed in the washer and worked fine about 24 hours later. Horrible Reception

"I work from home and need the flexibility of a cordless 2 line phone. The Uniden most certainly does not meet that need as it drops calls when you move more than 4 feet away from the base unit (at worst) and at best has a ton of crackling white noise on the line even within reach of the base unit. "Only issue is phone becomes inoperative (goes dead) but restores itself when battery connection removed then reconnected. This happens after about 2 weeks of use, then problem re-occurs. Each time corrected by unplugging/replugging the battery connector. But for this annoyance, it's excellent. "

2nd line echo makes phone almost useless

"2nd line has a nasty echo so you hear your own voice echo back when speaking. Its also hard to hear others. The phone is biult well with nice features but the sound quality forced us to return it. "
