great NON-trunktracker!!!

"Because of city, state and county budget contraints, many fire and rescue depts have "not" gone to digital or scrambling systems(check your local first) this receiver is great for such analog systems. I had a trunktracker but found there were just too many entries to be made to get it to work. Too much whiz and not enough bang

"Well made scanner but it lacks audio output and sensitivty. Also, the instruction manuel is not easy for the average person to set up the atomic clock. Besides that, the fact that this scanner can operate on 3-AA batteries during a power failure is GREAT. "
