Its user friendly if you have software

"I will say that this was a well thought out scanner for those that enjoy a manual in their pocket. The Close call feature is nice. Without the manual it maybe the only way you can program it. The Close call feature works very well. This scanner is good for those that do not have Digital systems in use by their Police or other emergency personel. Good if you don't use batteries

"I use this product to keep track of road conditions, weather and emergencies. I am disappointed with the scanner because I frequently have to use batteries. I go threw a LOT of batteries. If you need a scanner that is portable and have to rely on batteries, I WOULD NOT recommend this scanner...." Read Full Review »
