"I just bought 2 of these cards, for 2 older machines at my house. Both machines are running XP Home. The cards installed w/o a hitch. XP already had working drivers. One one machine, I have an external USB hard drive attached to the card. Transfer rates have gone way up. Moving pictures and other files takes a fraction of the time that it used to. "I purchased this and I plugged it into my computer's PCI slot. I started my computer multiple times to get it to find the card. It didn't. When i went to find the driver, I got an N/A on the website where I'm directed to get the latest driver. This is my first build and I've had it complete for nearly 2 months now. "It takes longer to take it out of the box than it does to have it up and running. XP recognized it immediately, loaded drivers, and I was off and running at cool USB 2.0 speed on a USB 1.0 mobo. Shifted my mouse, keyboard and 2.0 hub to the ports on the Ultra card, now Life Is Good.

"I have an older Dell. I put this card into it and WHAT a difference! I am using XP SP3 and it installed it completely and without drivers from my part.
