"I base all my purchasing decisions on the reviews it recieves. Only this was priced at $9.99 w/ free shipping! So, being a sucker for free shipping, I didn't even bother reading the reviews, I just loaded it in the cart! The main benefit for me is that it is a writer. This reader was horrible ...

"This reader was horrible when using Compact Flash. The pins are easily bent within the reader as there are no grooves to line up the flash chip. All of my other readers have grooves to help slide the card in with no problems...this reader went into the trash on day one.
