"Mounting hardware only fits 5'' drive bays (which I have never seen before) or, if you have a rail kit, you might get it to fit into a standard 5-1/4'' drive bay. If you have ''tool less'' drive bays, forget it. The heat pipes are probably just to keep both sides of the drive at equal temperature. I suspect the base aluminum drive chasis does this anyway. When I tried to install them the screw holes did NOT match up with the screw holes on the drives. This made them absolutely unusable.

"Works as advertised.
However please note that it needs a full 5.25'' drive bay PLUS ample space above it (like another empty 5.25'' drive bay).
Also make sure that your IDE cable can be routed conveniently before buying this cooler.
