"I bought two of these, and use them as the backbone of my 10-computer home network. I pulled them out of their packages, and used them to replace the 10/100 switches on my network. They seem to work like switches, and are not overheating. I have had mine installed for a month without any problems.

"Very nice product. Wire it up, plug it in and forget about it. It just works. I'm a software developer and run multiple operating systems with no issues. Transfer speed is fabulous. Lights work as expected.
