"So far so best.... I have not noticed anything that would indicate that the card is holding back the camera. (Sony A300) On the desktop transferring the files it is nice and slow, but that could be more related to the age of the computer. Price level per GB to quality experience: bery good. "

Works fine as a second "hard disc" on a Dell laptop that has an 80 Gb disc.
The Transcend compact flash card fits an unused slot, and has allowed me to use this machine for another year or so, since I am jammmed on disc cpace.
