"From reading all the reviews everyone seems pretty happy with this laptop. I had $65 in Reward Zone Points so I ended up paying about $270 for this Toshiba. I got it home, wiped it clean, and am running Windows 7 RC 1 on it at the moment. It runs it great. "I baught this machine yesterday, so far I have noticed that the Hard drive is only 140GB instead of 160GB, and the DVD-R only reads at 4-5X and will only write at 3-4X and makes a terribale noise while juste reading. I tried to set-up my e-mail and it had errors, and had to close 3 times just while setting up, every other program I openhas a vista compatability issue.
