"I've had the unit about a month. After figuring out how to do a timer record (different than what I am used to) everything has worked flawlessly. I am new to DVD recording so I read the manual for the type of DVD to purchase. I use DVD-RW and record about 7 hours of widescreen shows a week. "I hate to be so different from all of the other reviews, but I have to because of my experience with this unit. I have no complaint with it's performance. My biggest complaint is the way the instructions manual is written. This machine has so many features that it is confusing to know where to go to find out what you want to do.
