A very nice machine

"After lots of research the new DR570 seemed pretty sweet. [...] Pretty inexpensive, and easy to set up and use. And it uses all formats (+ and -) of DVD-Rs and DVD-RWs. The remote could use a volume control but thats no big deal. And when learning the machine, the manual could use an index to make finding topics easier. Overall you can't go wrong with the DR570...." "Works well - very similar to an old VCR - just better quality recordings! It is basic and you have to remember to leave the STB on the channel you want to record - it is not like our DVR that will change channels! Good for kids shows that I record and they watch in the car on long journeys. "
