"Takes a little reading to get yourself going if you've never owned a DVD recorder. I own a Toshiba TV and it's very high quality as is this DVD recorder. For the price it's as good as it gets. Good for casual use

"FirstI reord and edit 6 to 10 hrs a day 6 days a week. When I by a new peice equipment I put it through its paces. So if you only record your favorite shows and don't do a lot of editing. This is a very good choice. And had a lot of nice features. Such as zoom in/out in pause and frame by frame. Just a tip But, if you are going to use it like I do.
