"This TV will fail in about 12-20 months. The power boards are made by LG and will inevitably overheat and fail. Even if you have an extended warranty, the headache of not having the TV while the repair center orders and waits for the cheaper replacement part that is even MORE doomed to fail, thus leaving you TVless yet AGAIN. "Purchased 2 sets, One starting humming after 6 months. The other died after 21 months, repair estimated at 495.00 to replace the scan converter. Did not repair do to other stories I have read about multiple boards within the sets appear to stop working. "
