"Purchased combo for Mother-in-law who used home antenna, no cable and couldn't figure out DVD player.
She gets perfect HD on about 8 local channels compaired to spotty analog reception. Non HD channels aren't bad either. And she can play DVDs (not HDDVDs) using a single remote.

"I love this television. The picture is beautiful whether I'm watching a DVD or analog cable. I don't have room for extra gadgets so the built-in DVD player is perfect for me. A great buy (even better now that the price is lower)! "
