"We had been looking for a smaller TV for a number of months and had not really considered this model until we saw it in operation at the store. We were actually considering a smaller size screen snd found that this was perfect for our kitchen. The picture quality is bright and clear. "I have mixed feelings about the Toshiba. Under the right circumstances, image quality is breathtaking...as sharp, clear, and colorful as I could ever hope for. I'm unhappy, though, with the Toshiba's reproduction of deep blacks, which is apparently an Achille's heel with LCD sets. "We use it in the bedroom and watch dvd's. We like the picture, sound and easy setup. The only con is that it would have been nice if the base was designed to sit more easily on top of a cable box to include for air gaps. "
