"It was about time that Tivo added some high definition outputs. This product puts out some great video quality via the HDMI or component video outputs. And the price is right. If you are a Tivo fan this is a must purchase as long as you are aware of its limitations: Can only be used with cable television. There are no video inputs. "What a buggy little box. The reviews have been mostly by those with previous Tivo experience, so theyre used to most of the quirks. My experiences: HDTV over 3 years, with a succession of Comcast DVR boxes. DVR experience with ReplayTV for 6 years (lovely, logical, truly user friendly; but not competitive and not HD).
