"- The top barely swivels (maybe 10 degrees either way)
- Easy enough to assemble but with a million screws and steps -- is a MAJOR pain
- Not as pictured; it is not a glossy black that matches televisions but a flat black that picks up dust and scratches VERY easily

"Needed a TV stand for new LCD 42" that was less than 16 1/2" to fit in my alcove. At 7" this was the best I could get, would've preferred 16". "I use the stand under my flat-screen TV. Both are black--nice look. The only drawback was with the black finish. It is very thin, very delicate, and very easily marred. Then the light wood beneath shows through. Be VERY careful with it. "
