Excellent Audio CD Recorder

"I have a collection of about 3,000 LPs and 500 45 RPM singles, in very good to minty condition. For the last 5 years I've used a Philipps recorder to create CDs. Sometimes I transfer these recorded CDs to MP3s. I also make compilation CDs from my LPs and from previously recorded and commercially available CDs. Nice controls - playback is fussy

"This cd recorder is a separate audio component much like an old fashioned audio cassette component; it records (analog and digital-optical) and plays. This is exactly what I want. My unit arrived and I noticed immediately it had problems playing audio cds. Frequently, instead of playing them it reports load error.
