The Targus Notebook Portable LapDesk is a folding tray that supports a notebook computer or PDA keyboard while on your lap, plane service tray or other surfaces that require more stabilization. The thin design allows the LapDesk to be packed easily in a notebook case along side the computer, while it is sturdy enough to support the heaviest of laptops. It also comes featured with an adjustable foot that can improve the cooling efficiency of your notebook by raising the back edge and increasing the airflow around the computer.

A Pretty Good Buy for Smaller Laptops

"I actually bought the laptop stand for someone else, but we ended up switching because their laptop was too big for it - 17in. I think I got the better end of the deal. "Firstly, though i ordered this i did not receive as pictured. The one i got is vented all the way to the edges with no surface for a mouse. Since this was a selling point, i am disappointed.
