"I'm on my laptop 10-16 hours a day doing work, and I've tried all kinds of cooling devices with fans. None of them work that well after awhile, and many are bulky and uncomfortable on your lap. Not so with this pad. "The idea of pulling heat away from computer is great. This pad does not require power, which does not drain the computer battery. This also keeps the USB port available. Unfortunately, the surface is slick, and computer slides all over the place. Contents are hard and lumpy--computer would not sit flat, making it hard to type.
