"This is great because it comes apart in 3 pieces, and has a carrying case. This prevents damage to the cords when transporting. Two recommendations: ALWAYS break it down, fold cords, and secure with the convenient Velcro it comes with. And two: BUY THE EXTENDED WARRANTY If the store offers it. "I bought one of these about five months ago to use with my Toshiba and HP laptops. (The Toshiba adapter was damaged in an electrical surge, and the HP adapter stopped worked after two years. I understand this is a common problem with HP laptops.)
