"This lens is used on a full frame D700. The good part is that no only does the VC work superbly if not even better than some VR lens samples I've used, but it is quite sharp considering the range. It of course, is not as razor sharp as some fine Nikkor lenses I have say at 300mm wide open, but stop it down and you've got a lens capable of more than just respectable 13x19 prints. "I used to shoot with a D200 and a 18-200 AFS VRII.
I was so happy with that stuff that I was looking for the same range for my D700 and because of Full Frame there was only this TAMRON VC available.
