"I use this lens for everything right now. The 10mm is a nice ultra wide angle and having the ability to go all the way up to 24 on this little lens is a great benefit. On a DX sized sensor that makes it a nice 36mm lens which is a nice plus. Because of that I can use for more subjects than what my other option was (sigma 10-20). "Purchased this lens for Nikon D-40 because of awesome wide-angle range, and because it was purported to work on my camera. Every time I switch from portrait to landscape or back, the exposure is about 7 stops too dark. If I shake the camera a bit the exposure comes back online, but becomes very dark again the next change in orientation. Very annoying. When the exposure works, the lens is a huge amount of fun ..."
