"A previous review mentioned a fragile (Top) Data layer on these CD's. I found it to be very durable for day to day use. My concern was if fingerprints or moisture would ruin the surface like those found in inkjet printables. No problems with these, the surface is a pretty shiny silver laquer where fingerprints can easily be wiped off. Even a little water wont harm it. I started transfering Music and Data off m..." "I have been using this media for a while now. I have never experienced any errors while recording on these discs. The problem that I have is the the data surface is extremely delicate. If I don't apply a label (fellowes) to the discs, the top surface scratches very easily. Once that is damaged, the disc is useless. I love the color pigmentation on the bottom of the discs.
