"I am very pleased with my unit. I had it set up and running in less than 10 minutes. I have 2 other Sylvania vcr/dvd's at my home and have purchased this for use at my work. Some people have criticized this unit for not having a tuner. This is not a fair criticism! In my shopping, I've found that all companies have quit putting tuners on these type units...." "My grandmother bought one after a radioshack employee assured her that it would work for recording cable TV. I took it out of the box and took one look and knew it would not be able to record from a cable tv source. There isn't a connection for a cable source on the VCR.
