"I purchased this tv/dvd combo unit recently after researching many options. For a non-HD tv, this is outstanding. The color and clarity is above average (though not as good as a standard Sony Trinitron). Don't expect to turn on your tv and have digital quality picture immediately. "Bought a Sylvania 20 w/o DVD for my brother and the picture was great. I went back and purchased the 20" w/ DVD for the kitchen/breakfast room. It is the greatest. I plan on placing it on the wall soon. It is great being able to see movies while I am preparing food. "
