"Which is to be a portable DVD player. This one just happens to have a TV tuner in it as well. And it didn't do too badly pulling in signals, no worse than any other small portable TV relying on a 24" antenna. It also worked exceptionally well with my cable system.

"i had hoped after returning the first item that the replacement would perform a bit better. although the remote this time was responsive, i found the response to be unpredictible, reception barely toleratable. "

"I have owned others that cost more and this one is the best. Good picture and sound. Only down side is the short battery life of 2.5 hours per charge, so I just bought a back up. "
