"I bought one of these over six years ago to use with a Panasonic AG-456. I removed the belt clip, and slapped velcro on the back to attach to the side of the 456, using an Azden 400 udr attached to the back of the cam. Works great! "This is the cheapest XLR adapter that I was able to find. I use it to record a video podcast with a Shure SM11 microphone (my camcorder doesn't have a XLR input). Works just fine. The only thing I don't like is that it's a little bulky. "

"I've had this xlr adapter for about a year. It holds up great in the field. I am using it with the Sony FX1 and a couple of Shure wired mics. The audio is great, the unit is rugged. Great price too. "
