"This a very special item that I needed to connect component output from Sony Plasma TV. Lot of TVs share VGA connector to take either component video or VGA video (section via menu choice). The cable worked as expected and I can hookup my Dish receiver's component outputs to TV's VGA input. "

"I am using this to hook up my Toshiba projector to my surround sound receiver. It works like a dream. The signal quality is great. Slightly darker than when I had it ran in Svideo but that may just be because it is a different signal. This cable is great quality. "
