"Good product overall. My headphone jack (not the plug) actually broke, and was unable to plug headphones in. This product let me plug in my headphones to my laptop via USB ports. The initial set up was automatic and did not hinder the performace of my operating system (Vistas).

"My laptop sound card had broken and I wasn't keen on opening it up to try to fix the issue - I'm not a hardware guy, and can't afford to pay someone else. I need sound for Skype calls and music. This product was cheap and works great, and it was an easy USB PnP install on my XP machine. "
