"My old TV had multiple inputs, and a SVHS video output (along with RCA audio out) which my new TV lacks, forcing me to manually switch cables from multiple audio/video sources when I wanted to record anything on my DVD recorder. "It does what it suppose to do very well.
The output quality is very good. My son used the device to switch component video by connecting the two additional video signals to the audio I/Os. It worked well. I am very satisfied with this product.

"After looking at a number of alternatives, I selected this video input switch from StarTech and I'm glad I did.Unlike most video switches--especially in this price range--it has a remote. Set up was super-simple, and the unit looks good. "
