Ok, but energy saving outlets are a pain

"It's a nice unit, especially for the price (when compared to similar Monster units). The switched "energy saving" outlets are a nice feature, but for certain devices, it doesn't work very well. You can work around this by plugging in something that is always on. As I previously stated, it's a good surge protecting unit.
