"Good product that also works well with regular sound equipment as a wireless microphone. Used it for an outdoor press conference for about 50 people with 150 watt speaker system. Never used it on a camcorder, but I'm sure it would work as well. Wished it had a better voice pick-up (although it wasn't bad), had it placed on the speaker's colar. Cheap mic, bad results

"[...] More than 15 feet away, this mic drops out so often--even if you have line of sight between the transmitter and receiver--that it'll leave you pulling your hair out in post production. Put a body between the mic and the camera, and you'll be lucky to get more than 8 feet away. Drop outs occur as fuzzy white noise which is distracting and leaves no residual sound to recover in post. "Have just used a few times- and will admit that there may be something I don't know- but so far I have used the mic on every channel at distances of only 10 to 20 feet and there is terrible static. Sitting completely still was not too bad- but I expected a lot more. "

"This is a universal mic which was very helpful. There was a low hum or buzz sound during the recording but the volume improvement was what I needed and received. This would be best for outdoor shooting...the buzz sound is lessened by the background noise. "
