"This tripod is about what you would expect for the price... [$] It supports the camera well, has solid and logical adjustments. I use it for my D70 and a small video camera (about 1.5lbs) for these items it works fine. The D70 with my 70-300 Nikkor was a challenge for my little manfrotto ball-head, but this tripod hold it fine. The video camera can pan pretty smoothly, but the tilt adjustment is always jerky..."
