recording for simplified, quick play/record operation. As you

* 25 Hour Battery Life is made possible by advanced technology which
extends battery power beyond previous limits.
* LED Battery Level Indicator provides visible indication of battery power
remaining.
* Clear Voice Recording System improves and enhances voice quality during
record and playback.
* 38% Larger Playback Speaker for Improved Sound larger speaker allows
better sound quality during playback.
* Built-In Microphone for extra convenience, eliminates the need for an
external microphone.
* Automatic Shut-Off At End of Tape pops up buttons to conserve battery
power, reduces mechanical wear, and alerts you that the end of the tape
has been reached.
* One Touch Record from Playback for simplified quick play/record
operation.
* Sony-Matic Automatic Recording Level Control uses advanced circuitry to
ensure correct recording level.
* L/R Monaural Earphone Jack provide sound in both ears when using an
optional stereo headset.
* Cue and Review Function provides sound during fast forward and rewind
modes to help find specific passages.
* Pause Switch temporarily halts recording or playback without leaving
that mode, and resumes at the flick of a button.

Cassette Voice Recorders are the now

"I use the voice recorder more as a tape player. I put it on my bike, so that I don't have to wear headphones, which leaves me to be aware of traffic and still able to enjoy music. I also use it as a walkman with headphones. Sometimes, I like to put it in my coat pocket without headphones, and walk around as though with a soundtrack to my life. "My use of this recorder is essentially for notes to myself as in "to do" lists and to record random ideas for items I am writing so for this, the device is fine. I did want to record a speaker and it is merely adequate in that function as it is not sensitive enough to pick up sound from any distance beyond about three feet at the most. "Very good for recording my lectures and readings. I also record ambient sounds while traveling. It's nice to hear the streets of Paris while sitting at home in Austin, Texas. This is my favorite of all small cassette recorders. "
