"Everything seemed great when buying this receiver. First i hooked up the HDMI cables. Everything worked fine at that point. The instruction booklet isn't all that helpful, but if you have a little knowledge with receivers, you can figure it out without the book. When i hooked up the component cables, the nightmare began. "PRO: It was a little more than I wanted to spend, but once installed I was very pleased. It was simple to set up.
CON: Although the HDMI ports are assignable, the factory defined ports (TV, SAT, DVD) were all composite. So my wife has to remember that TV is HDMI 1 and DVD is HDMI 2.

"I am using this receiver for my home theater and music, and it sounds great. It was easy to set up and learn, and the auto sound leveler was great even though I did have to turn up the rears a little. "
